Each coverbox® consists of up-to four parts:

  1. A blackbox including: internal GPS and GSM antennae
  2. A fuel measurement sensor
  3. A wiring harness connecting into the battery, ground and ignition and fuel sensor circuits
  4. An immobilizing device fitted to the starter motor solenoid line (crank cut)

The fuel sensor consists of a wire which is connected to the wiring from one of the vehicle fuel injectors inside the engine bay. The fuel sensor wire needs to be thread through an existing firewall/bulkhead grommet and connected into the coverbox device which is covertly installed under the dashboard as shown below in the Nissan Micra example.
